Generals are the essence of the game, they are the leaders who take your soldiers to battle and help you conquer the world.
Generals possess certain personal qualities, defining the price that is to be paid for them.
The generals will attack each other’s armies until one of them runs out of soldiers. Alternatively, the battle ends when certain number of turns elapses and then it will be a draw. The first to go is the speedier general.
- Age: every general and admiral has an age, which is increasing, with every passing turn. Age is in the range between 15 and 100 years. However, your general is sure to live only up to 60 years, after this he can die at any moment, so it is quite risky to send an old general to battle. Your general can die of old age when he is most needed. The higher the age of the general is, the cheaper he costs.
- Skill: the level of the general’s experience determining what kind of orders he can give in battle. This varies from 1 to 100. The initial skill cannot be over 30. The general needs to study and get experience in actual battle to grow further. The higher the skill is, the more expensive the hire costs.
- Speed: this parameter defines the order of generals’ attacks. Two generals take part in any battle: the first to attack is the one who has higher speed. Each turn the speediest general is the first to go to battle, then the second speediest etc. If the skill of the generals is equal, the speedier general has more chances since he is the first to attack. Also, the faster is the general, he will conquer more territory if he won the battle. The higher the speed is, the more you will pay for your general.
